Associated Students of Seattle Pacific (ASSP) is the student government body for Seattle Pacific University. ASSP consists of several divisions: Campus Activities, Campus Ministries, Student Government (including ASSP Senate) and Student Media. These divisions are involved in programming campus events, developing the weekly Chapel and GROUP programs, facilitating student representation on university committees and supporting various groups and clubs on campus. This collection of records covers most aspects of the operation and activities of ASSP.

Established in 1890 with nine members, the Board of Trustees is the governing body for Seattle Pacific University (formerly Seattle Seminary and Seattle Pacific College). Originally, all nine members were elected by the Washington Conference of the Free Methodist Church. By 1950, the Board had the authority to elect up to eight members.
